Members of the “Stop the Hermantown Data Center” group met Sunday to discuss recent developments and their push for a seat at the table in Hermantown City Hall.
During the meeting, the group focused on local government actions they say could impact their mission, including a judicial hearing approving the launch of a Hermantown Charter Commission.
Advocates say the push for a charter commission stems from ethics concerns regarding how local leaders have handled the data center project.
They specifically pointed to issues with zoning, transparency and public input.
The City of Hermantown was contacted by the reporter but did not respond.
