Blandin webinar: Community Technology Centers May 12: Notes and Archive

Thanks to those who presented at and attended the webinar yesterday. Here are the notes and archive:

Communities create and maintain technology centers for a variety of purposes – ranging from promoting digital access and literacy to spurring innovation.

Our next webinar will feature three speakers.

Bill Coleman will provide an overview of the various types of technology centers that a community might want to consider, including types of equipment, connectivity and staffing. Sheila Haverkamp of the Brainerd Lakes Development Corporation will talk about BLADC’s new business technology center and Mark Erickson of the City of Winthrop will share their emerging technology center strategies in Sibley County.
