Minnesota sales tax exemption for telecom equipment reinstated

Last night Governor Dayton signed the tax relief bill. It reduces a range of taxes for Minnesota businesses and residents. It reinstates a sales tax exemption on telecom equipment. The hope is that it will encourage (or at least not hinder) greater deployment of broadband in Minnesota.

The Minnesota Broadband Tax Force strongly recommended this move.
