The Jackson Public Library is a recipient of a grant that will allow the facility to purchase new computers for the community to use.

Southwest Minnesota Broadband Service was one of nine recipients of this grant.

Jackson Public Library along with Lake Field and Heron Lake received a grant of $11,000 to purchase twelve iPads and eight e–Readers.

The grant also covers educational training for the devices.
