According to the Minneapolis St Paul Business Journal…
A pair of Twin Cities tech firm founders are opening a school in Uptown that will train techies how to develop web and mobile applications.
I like their reasoning for going into business and I’m a little tempted to take a class!
“We are creating a place where the best practitioners of modern mobile and web software can teach, mentor, inspire, and work side-by-side with other really smart women and men who want to expand not only their own personal skills but also drive their own organizations forward when they go to work the next day,” Bollinger said in the statement.
Smart Factory, located at 2913 Harriet Ave. S., will charge between $1,000 and $1,500 per class. It’s offering deep discounts for its first set of classes.
I’d just love for them to find a way to open up the classes to remote attendees in rural Minnesota. Maybe there’s an app for that!
