The USDA is accepting applications for grants through the 2009 Distance Learning and Telemedicine (DLT) Grant Program to provide access to education, training and healthcare resources in rural areas.
Complete applications must be received by March 24.
To be eligible, your organization must:
- Deliver or propose to deliver distance learning or telemedicine services for the term of the grant.
- Be an incorporated organization or partnership… with the legal capacity to contract with the United States Government.
- Operate a rural community facility or deliver distance learning or telemedicine services to entities that operate a rural community facility.
Good luck. I’d love to see some MN communities get the funding.
All,
My name is Dustin Artwohl and I work in the Government/Education space for Video Guidance. We hold MN State Contracts on video streaming and videoconferencing (ITV) technology. I have been heavily involved with grant projects for the past few years. So much so in fact, that Video Guidance was recently awarded the Tandberg Grant Services “Direct Partner of the Year.”
If you have any questions about this DLT Grant program, please feel free to contact me directly. Video Guidance has helped 3 organizations in the last year get funded with these RUS dollars.
We can cover the details of this grant with you and determine together whether or not you would have a strong application. If there is a fit, we can even assist with finding and paying for a 3rd party grant writer. If an application doesn’t make sense, we can stay in contact as new/annual grants pop up frequently.
Regards,
Dustin Artwohl
