Armada launched a new mobile modular data center at the Grand Forks Air Force Base that could help bring faster, more flexible computing power.

What looks like a standard shipping container is actually a high-powered data center designed to go where computing power is needed most. The mobile modular data center, unveiled Friday, July 17, at Grand Sky, is built to provide secure, scalable computing without the need for a traditional brick-and-mortar facility.

Why a mobile data center?

The goal of the mobile data centers is to help customers process large volumes of mission data locally and reduce reliance on distant cloud infrastructure.
