SCI is deploying FTTH in areas around Pine County

SCI Cable in Hinckley is working on a large-scale broadband project that started in 2023 and is estimated to be completed in 2026.

According to Scott Savage, the Vice President of Business Development for SCI Cable when all phases are complete, over 4,500 currently unserviced locations will have access to reliable high-speed internet.

“We currently have multiple fiber to the home projects going on in Pine County,” Savage states.

This project are being funded through a combination of SCI Private Capital, Pine County grants, state grants, and federal grants.

SCI has been providing communication services in East Central Minnesota for over 40 years with the local office in Hinckley.
