Nuvera Begins Construction on New Fiber Network in Shakopee

Good news for Shakopee from Nuvera…

Nuvera Communications, Inc. (OTC: NUVR), a leading Minnesota broadband provider headquartered in New Ulm, Minnesota, will begin construction on a new fiber network in Shakopee beginning mid-June, as part of plans to expand fiber internet service into new communities.

“Nuvera takes pride in being a Minnesota company that’s bringing connections to life for more families, businesses, and communities,” said Glenn Zerbe, Chief Executive Officer, Nuvera Communications. “Just like roads and bridges, technology infrastructure is critical for our communities. Nuvera’s investment in symmetrical fiber service for Shakopee brings a superior product to the community that ensures fast, reliable connections for decades to come.”
Nuvera’s expansion into Shakopee follows many years of serving the neighboring communities of Prior Lake, Savage, and Elko-New Market. Nuvera is rapidly deploying fiber service to new areas, including Belle Plaine, Cokato, and Olivia, while also managing 30+ fiber projects in 21 communities across southern Minnesota.

Nuvera will begin construction on the multi-year project in Shakopee’s Southbridge neighborhood. Residents in the area should look out for mail from Nuvera with all the details about signing up for products and services.
