Comcast upgrades broadband speeds for customers in the Twin Cities

Comcast has increased the internet speeds for millions of its Xfinity customers, including an estimated 300,000 in the Twin Cities.

The telecoms giant announced this week it would be upgrading its speeds “at no extra costs” for new and existing customers.

The speed changes affect customers on four plans:

  • Connect: 75 Mbps to 150 Mbps

  • Connect More: 200 Mbps to 300 Mbps

  • Fast: 400 Mbps to 500 Mbps

  • Xfinity Prepaid: 50 Mbps to 200 Mbps
