Lake Mills-based Winnebago Cooperative Telecom Association (WCTA) was recently recognized by Innovative Systems with an Internet service award for its accomplishments in closing the digital divide.
The award is given to a provider who has demonstrated a commitment to Broadband access, education, and affordability.
Officials of WCTA said in a release that they are proud to serve rural areas in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota with a 100% fiber optic network.
