Marshall Area Chamber hosts SDN Communications at recent event (Lyon County)

I’m sharing this because it’s always a good idea to help the community learn more about local broadband providers – but especially now as money is being invested in broadband at the State and Federal level. The Marshall Independent reports

SDN Communications was featured at the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce’s most recent “Business After Hours” event. Chamber and community members had a chance to meet Greenfield and learn about SDN on Wednesday evening.

“We’re based out of Sioux Falls, and we are a business-to-business broadband connectivity provider,” Greenfield said. “We are made up of 17 member companies out of South Dakota, and they help us reach all four corners of the entire state. And then we are just starting to expand our fiber into southwest Minnesota.”

“We serve medium to large businesses, and anyone that needs that reliable network,” Greenfield said.

According to SDN’s website, the company has about 115 employees, and more than 50,000 miles of fiber. In addition to South and North Dakota, the fiber network reaches into Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado.
