I am doing the annual look at broadband in each county – based on maps from the Office of Broadband Development and news gathered from the last year.
Mower County broadband ranking has dipped a from 14 to 79. I assume this reflects an anomaly in the mapping. (Last year’s mapping included fixed wireless access this year includes only wireline.)
Mediacom has announced that part of Mower County (Adams, Brownsdale, Le Roy, Lyle, Waltham) are part of the Gig upgrade. And the county was optimistic about the opportunities inherent in the CAF II auction.
