Representative Patti Fritz supports broadband funding

According to the Faribault Daily News, Representative Patti Fritz supports continued funding for broadband for rural areas…

As your representative during the 2013 to 2014 sessions, I was proud to fund broadband internet. Not just as a means for quicker access to information for all, but as a means to support students and small business in Greater Minnesota. Broadband internet is imperative for companies to compete in a 21st century economy that works for everyone.

This is why I am concerned as to why the GOP, with $2 billion surplus, ignored the needs of Greater Minnesota and refused to make the serious investments that are needed. This is not a Democrat or GOP issue, this is the right thing to do. We need to all come together and advocate for expanding and investing in broadband for Greater Minnesota now.
