Laptops were ordered for the Life Enrichment Center (HRA Housing) and another program has been scheduled for live video-conferencing, after their December program from Pearl Harbor left the community asking for more. On March 18th, residents will be able to tour the interpretive center at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, on a “Trip to the Future”. (It will be March 19th there.) Internet marketing training begins in March, for area residents and businesses.
The KBI group will begin to work on implementing Round two projects of Google site claiming (to enhance their community portal), establishing numerous community Wi-Fi hotspots, including Wi-Fi on school activity buses, and the development of a telecommuting/homework center in downtown Mora, which will also host the Chamber.
Mora HS band students are now able to take music lessons from the McPhail Center musician’s over the internet.
