I thought readers might be interested in the following webcast scheduled for Wednesday, May 18, 2011 1:00 pm
Our webcast is a “how to” presentation for telecom carriers, cooperatives, and broadband service providers interested in applying for federal capital funds for new and expanded networks serving rural America.
Thanks to the work of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and members of Congress, USDA’s Rural Utilities Service (RUS) is now accepting applications for $1.1 billion in the Broadband Loan Program and the Telecommunications Loan Program.
The $1.1 billion in loan capacity was subject to a roller coaster ride of initial announcements and funding cut backs, yet is now all moving though the application, award, and loan writing phases. Unlike the broadband stimulus program the loans are written on a first come, first served basis.
Learn from leading industry experts, with collectively decades of experience applying for RUS loans, managing loan funding for carriers, and building and supplying federally supported networks across the nation.
