Task Force Recommendations unveiled Nov 6

The Minnesota Ultra High Speed Broadband Task Force report and recommendations will be released on November 6. There will be a press conference at 10:00 a.m., in Room 181 (first floor) in the State Office Building directly across the hall from the Office of the Secretary of State. The memorandum from the state task force chair, posted online this week, indicates that the chairs of the legislative committees and the Governor will be represented at the press conference.

The press conference will be followed by a joint House-Senate legislative committee hearing from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., in Room 15 of the State Capitol. Members of the state task force are being encouraged to attend.

I assume both events will be open to the public; I plan to attend and will take notes to post here.
