Here’s a broadband policy that makes a ton of sense and I suspect won’t cost a tom of money.
Senator Amy Klobuchar other U.S. senators are pushing a bill to require that when any government builds or rebuilds a road with federal money that broadband conduit be installed at the same time.
It was originally codified as an amendment to House Bill 3654, which did not

Then, it was integrated into the attached broadband components of our
“capital plan implementation bill” (below). This, however, has not yet been
signed into law.
