Happy New Year: A look backward at Blandin on Broadband in 2024

Happy New Year. It’s always a time to take stock and look forward and the Blandin on Broadband blog is a big part of my work life. Here are some random stats on the blog during 2024:

  • Number of posts: 829
  • Number of comments: 39
  • Number of likes: 291
  • The most popular post in the last year : Google Cache no longer caching websites but Wayback Machine does with 928 views. For someone who focuses on Minnesota, it seems like a funny “most popular” but maybe when non-Minnesotans were looking, they learned a little bit more about us!

I want to send a big thanks to folks who post comments, often helping me to find even better information and of course the Blandin Foundation for hosting the blog for since 2007. I appreciate the help and the community.

Looking forward, I just want to invite more community, comments and meetings notices. If you have a local broadband meeting (especially if there’s an online option to attend), I’d like to attend or at least let folks know others about it. If you have a question, please send it my way. (atreacy@treacinfo.com) I am a reference librarian without a desk and chances are if you have a question, someone else is wondering the same thing. It helps us all recognize trends on the frontlines that we can use as a community and share with decision makers.
