Comcast to provide wifi to St Paul Housing Agency residents

Bring Me the News reports…

Comcast will provide WiFi connectively to all 16 buildings managed by the Saint Paul Public Housing Agency (PHA) under a new agreement announced this week.

This marks Comcast’s first collaboration with a Minnesota-based housing agency to provide pre-installed, functioning connection to the Xfinity network for residents.

More than 2,500 housing units will have access to the WiFi, and while it’s not free for residents, some may qualify for Comcast’s Internet Essentials program, which starts at $9.95 a month for 50 Mbps internet service with equipment included, and Internet Essentials Plus .
