OPPORTUNITY: Looking for organizations like to host a Lead for America Fellow – Applications close April 21st!

I am sharing the following with permission from the Lo Smith on the NDIA email discussion list

Lead for America is searching for organizations to host American Connection Corps fellows for the upcoming cohort. There is a specific component to this program that focuses on digital equity, so please consider having a Lead for America Fellow join your team! Fellows can be utilized for not just outreach; but grant writing, creating classes, facilitating meetings or programs, or providing direct service such as helping to facilitate getting people into the ACP.

American Connection Corps host organizations must be a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, a local, tribal, or state government entity, or a faith-based organization focused on non-religious activity. Below are a few examples:

  • State Broadband Offices
  • Local Governments / Agencies
  • Non-Profits

All ACC members are AmeriCorps members who commit to giving a year of their lives to national service.

The deadline is April 21st: https://leadforamerica.pinpointhq.com/postings/ba12272e-7bd6-4e30-a164-19403c76e00b
