Candidate Ellison recognizes need for better rural broadband

The Mesabi Daily News reports on a recent visit to the area from Keith Ellison…

Along with health care and education, topics concerning the high cost of child care and access to mental health were also voiced as high concerns by the region. Ellison talked about “geographic discrimination” experienced in rural Minnesota and ensuring access to broadband and cell service across the state.

“People want a strong advocate,” explained Ellison. “A person to hold people accountable and to work with citizens to find solutions.”

Representative Ellison is currently running for MN Attorney General.
