I wrote about one of these meetings last week – but as much for the archive as for the news of it I wanted to share DEED’s recent announcement…

This week, Smith along with MN Office of Broadband Development Executive Director Danna MacKenzie traveled to Duluth, Chisholm, Brainerd, Fergus Falls and Luverne for broadband roundtable discussions with grant awardees and key stakeholders.

So nice to have the personal connection – as well obviously for the funding – in local communities. I think the visit from broadband and policy dignitaries can help spread the word and importance of broadband as much as the investment.
