25 Cool eLearning Projects for Kids: aka Keep a Kid Busy this Summer

The following article caught my eye for a couple of reasons – 25 Cool Things Kids Can Learn to do Online (For Free). First, I have kids who are out of school and need to be entertained. Second, if I can entertain while they learn – all the better. I thought I might not be alone in that pursuit. But also I think these activities would be great for any digital literacy group. Most activities are a nice blend of online and offline action.

I’m going to include just a couple of my favorites from the list:

  • Play the Star Wars theme on piano

  • Deal with feeling angry
A step-by-step guide to getting through strong emotions. Who doesn’t need this one?!
  • Concoct ice cream in a bag
It’s hot out, but this is cool — and tasty. Who doesn’t want this?!
