Last week, KLQP radio Madison interviewed Renae Tostenson, LqPV Superintendent, about LqVP’s new role as a Blandin Broadband Community. (Listen here.)
Renae and host Paul Raymo talk about how the BBC program will promote broadband adoption in the community. They have gathered a steering committee with representatives from many sectors and industries in the area. This group will be meeting on March 4 to talk about projects that might help build awareness and interest of broadband.
LqPV is a unique rural area in that FTTH is coming to many of the communities in the area. So they are in a unique position to forget about bandwidth limitations and focus on innovation. (That being said, there are pockets of limited coverage.)
