Austin MN gets 75-100 free computers

A quick, fun story for a Sunday – from the Austin Post Bulletin

A Twin Cities nonprofit organization has chosen Austin as one of 10 Minnesota communities to receive 75-100 free computers.

PCs for People, a St. Paul-based group dedicated to getting donated, refurbished computers in the hands of low-income families and individuals, will visit Austin sometime in May. …

PCs for People is sponsored in part by the Blandin Foundation and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

We’re very excited about it!
