Computer Commuter Tour

Earlier this month I visited the Lac qui Parle EDA and their Computer Commuter. I’ve written about the Computer Commuter before; it’s a tricked out van outfitted with 7 computers and space for a few more for folks who want to bring in their laptops. Each computer can access broadband connection. The van travels around the county to give residents a chance to try out a broadband connection. It’s a great feeder for a community that is currently working on FTTH. You can learn more about the Computer Commuter on the Lac qui Parle EDA web.
