Lake County commissioners celebrated at the new headquarters for a fiber optic network project.
A ribbon cutting kicked it off.
Lake County has been enjoying an interesting path to deploying fiber. Starting from the beginning (of the ARRA chapter anyways). Here’s a recap. I don’t promise to have all of the ins and outs – but it’s a glimpse at the path to a community network – detours, diversions and all:
