60k Upload is not Enough!

at the LibraryOK I’m sitting outside the Cabinteely Library again – why? Because the upload speeds at the library are marginally better than those at the house. Both connections are considered broadband. So what does that mean here (in Dublin)? Well at the house I got 800k download and 40-60k upload.

I got a great new Flip digital video camera. I love it. I took fun videos of the girls and I tried to upload them. I tried ALL NIGHT – and still it failed. At the library it takes about 25 minutes to upload a 3-minute video to YouTube. Sadly I had only budgeted myself an hour.

So, the library just closed a few minutes ago and my second video is half uploaded so I’m sitting here in the cold with my 3 year old waiting for the rest of the video to go already.
