As a reminder – this week I am at the NATOA (National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors) Conference in San Francisco.
I heard a very interesting presentation at NATOA about archive.org. They are digitizing books, music and television and web pages. A quick look at the web site reveals a treasure of information.
They also talked about how they provide free High speed Internet in San francisco through a combination of fiber and wireless. They are seeking other community partners. Their primary criteria is to have “light in your eyes”! If you are interested, email ralph@archive.org.

I love archive.org for live music, in particular songs that have not been (may never be) released commercially.
I use it to previous iterations of web sites all of the time. It has saved me hours of retyping and research! I’ll have to look into the music!
