Here’s a quick book review – well it’s not really a book but it is a review. The folks at Broadband Properties recently published an online primer on Fiber to the Home.

It’s 28 pages long, which initially scared me but there are lots of pictures. (I think I the powers that be might revoke my Library Science degree for admitting that 28 pages is too long for me – but sometimes it is.) This was a quick read.

The authors assumed no prior knowledge from the reader so they define everything. So while some of it is pretty introductory, even folks with a passing knowledge might learn something from it. I think this would be a good intro for community leader or elected official who needed a crash course on FTTH.
