The Alliance for Excellent Education (All4Ed), Future Ready Schools®, and our valued partners invite you to sign a letter to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) urging the commission to expand funding for home internet access to support student learning.
As we all are aware, millions of students are home for an undetermined amount of time as a result of school closures in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. Across the country, educators are doing amazing work to meet the many needs our children are facing at this time, such as ensuring that students from low-income families have access to healthy meals. We also know that school districts are working to continue instruction, yet many students lack the internet access needed to take advantage of online learning opportunities being provided by their schools and districts.
The FCC can help. Please join your fellow educators by adding your name to this letter by Tuesday, March 24, 2020, calling on the FCC to expand funding for home internet access.
