The new Minnesota Broadband Task Force members were unveiled earlier this month. It looks like a good group of smart people and I think we will see exciting things – but I figure everyone can use a little advice, especially from their predecessors. So I have asked former Task Force members and other smart folks if they had any advice. I’m hoping to post interviews over the next few days and to talk to more folks at the Broadband Conference this week.
This afternoon I spoke with Mike O’Connor from the original task force. Mike had some pretty specific advice – so much we set up two interviews. You can see them both below. A lot of Mike’s advice stems from the roadmap that the original Task Force created. As he point out a lot of tools are there to get started towards improving broadband in Minnesota. Mike suggests that the Task Force use this roadmap and subject specialists to lead Minnesota to becoming a broadband leader.
Just added access to the Slides – thanks to Mike for sharing!
